If you are willing to put an hour or two a day into something you are passionate about instead of going on social media or watching tv, you’ll be surprised at how much extra money you can make.

For those of you that are new to the blog, hello! My name is Joanna and I love finding new ways to make money online. I’m sure there are plenty of reasons to want to make money online are different, my reasons are because I want to make location-independent income (so that I can travel more) and to be more in control of my time because I found out that I’m not nearly as productive in the 9-5 as I am working on my own schedule.

Taking surveys is a great option if you’re looking to make money and want to make some extra money online fast (get paid this week!). Anyone can take surveys, you don’t need to be qualified or you don’t need a college degree. You just need wifi!

Companies use survey sites to get feedback on their services or are just doing research for product development. The following websites are free to join and easy to use. They are both legit (with high ratings on Trustpilot and Better Business Bureau), and they won’t share your personal info with anyone.

The first site is Survey Junkie, my personal favorite. Take easy surveys for points that can be exchanged for gift cards or money that gets deposited directly into your PayPal account.

You can earn $5 just for creating an account and filling out your info. After you create your account there should be a bunch of new surveys available for you to start completing.

Different surveys will reward you with different point amounts depending on the length and time required. Usually, you can earn anywhere from $5 to $150 per survey.

Once you’re done, points can be deposited directly into your Paypal account (with no transfer fees) or in the form of a gift card. Your survey points have no expiry date and you can keep them for as long as you want before you cash out.

Swagbucks is definitely the funnest way to make some extra money online fast

I love Swagbucks so much. You can earn points in exchange for completing tasks, and for those of you that are ADHD like me – Swagbucks is almost…. dare I say it… fun.

There are plenty of ways to make money on Swagbucks. You can use their search engine that works like google, or you can watch videos or even play games in exchange for $!

They payout over 6000 Giftcards daily to their members. You can also cash out via PayPal or submit points for prizes.

2. Participate in Research Studies (up to $150 an hour)

Last year, I came across a post where a woman made $45 dollars for just an hour of her time from Respondent.io. I honestly didn’t believe it at first, so I signed up and immediately found out that I was eligible for a survey that paid $150. The survey took about an hour to complete and by the end of it, I had earned $150 that got deposited directly into my Paypal account!! Out of all of the options I mention in this article, Respondent is my FAVORITE way to make money online fast!

After doing a bit of research I found out that some people make $200 a week just by completing simple surveys on Respondent. It’s super easy to use and new surveys are being submitted daily.

Do you shop at stores like Sephora, CVS, or Amazon? What If I told you that you can get 10-15% cashback from shopping at these stores through a website called Rakuten? Groupon had 18% cashback today. I’m getting cashback on top of a huge Groupon discount through Ebates. I love love love this site and it helped me save thousands this year.

What I like about Lyft and Uber is that you can go out and drive whenever you have some spare time. There are always people that need rides around your city especially if you live in a larger one. Rideshare jobs are a great way to meet new people if you’re new to a city.

If you have an extra room in your house that’s just sitting there empty, you might want to consider renting it out. An extra room is a money pit. Literally. In Los Angeles rent prices in a popular area for a spare room exceed $1200 a month. The best way to rent rooms out is through Airbnb. I like to rent out my room through Airbnb when I go on vacation. Some people have even turned their Airbnb into six-figure businesses. If you’re looking for a longer-term rental you might want to consider Roomster.

9. Test Apps & Websites

Usertesting.com is a relatively new site paying users $10 per website visit via laptop and $15 for every site that you visit on mobile. You don’t need to be super technical for this online job. They just want real people to give honest and constructive feedback for their clients.

Healthy Wage is an awesome app that is changing people’s lives. You can earn around $14-$22 an hour. You have to have at least a bachelor’s degree in order to teach, the good news is that you don’t have to have majored in English.
