With a few cute summer outfits on deck, you’ll be ready to go just about anywhere—and I’ve rounded up the biggest 2024 summer fashion trends that channel the optimistic energy floating through the air. It can be argued that warmer weather makes it easier to get dressed. No more fussing with jackets and bulky layers because oftentimes, the perfect summer outfit consists of a skirt and a cute tank top. I can’t help but double-tap and obsess over bodycon maxi dresses for this summer 2024 season. These dresses are not only vacation-ready but also a wonderful option for special occasions. Not to mention a skin-tight ribbed dress is perfect outfit choice to show off your body while on a cute summer date with your crush 😻

2. Cargo Pants & Utility Pockets

Ummmm pants? In summer? Yes, babe. The cargo pocket has been a star trend for a few seasons now, and it’s truly hard to miss with a pair of cargo pants.

Yep, cargo pants are back in style, and these picks give off an effortless, cool-girl vibe.

3. Classic white tank + blue jean combo

If the white tank top were a person, their back would hurt from absolutely carrying summer fashion. If in doubt, you can’t go wrong with a white blouse-and-blue jeans outfit. Dress up the look by stacking gold jewelry and a designer bag.

I’m seeing signs that a new wave of preppy fashion is making yet another comeback with the influx of pieces like crisp button-down shirts, Loro Piana loafers, & linen blazers. What feels fresh about a stripped shirt for summer is the way I’m seeing them styled—tucked into shorts or pants with a belt, then unbuttoned nearly to the waist.

5. Mesh & Tube tops

We have all seen ’90s minimalism on the runways for several seasons, and this trend isn’t slowing down anytime soon. Recreate the 90’s look with pieces such as mesh button-up shirts and tube tops. What better way to avoid pit stains than getting rid of your sleeves entirely?!

Tube tops are perfect for those extra-hot summer days. Style with cargo pants to knock out two trends in one outfit.

For a full midriff-baring look, add this nineties’ favorite – low-slung waists. With everything from jeans to suiting, shorts to evening skirts having been given the low-rise treatment lately.
