Are you looking to live your best life in 2024? Craving some unique bucket list ideas of things to do before you die? This ultimate bucket list of fun, exciting, and travel items has got you covered!
Hello there, It’s been a while since we last talked. I’ve spent the last couple of months exploring Asia and ticking a few things off of the bucket list. What’s on my bucket list? Well, I’m glad you asked, because you’re about to find out.
Today I wanted to make a little list of the ultimate experiences I want to have over the next few years to not only hold myself accountable but also to inspire you to add a destination or two to your travel bucket list (and to start checking them off!).
To be honest, creating bucket lists is the glue that keeps my mental health intact. For realz 💁🏽♀️. It helps me focus on the bigger picture so I don’t sweat about the small stuff. I 100% recommend creating a bucket list on a self-care day, or even as a journaling exercise. Remember that there’s a whole wide world out there waiting for you to explore it.
Close your eyes and complete this sentence: “Before I die, I want to….” Create memories? Meet interesting people? Learn something new? I want to invite you to make a list of things you want to do and actually start researching how to make your travel and life ambitions a reality.
Life tip: make sure to add things that are outside your comfort zone, because that’s the place where you’ll grow the most. For example, I’m terrified of the deep sea. I get anxious just thinking about it. So, guess what I added to my list? 😆 Scuba diving 😱
So welcome to my ginormous bucket list, which I have started working on this year. It is a never-ending work in progress, continuously being altered, updated, contemplated, and rejuvenated—much like myself. I’ll also be adding travel guides to each so make sure to come back for updates!
So without further ado, let’s dive in shall we? 🤿
1. Start a blog to document my travels & make a full-time income from it
Blogs aren’t dead. In fact, I’m able to cover all of my travel and living expenses just on income made from this blog alone. Blogging has helped me get out of my comfort zone, make new friends, and share all of the things I’m passionate about with the world.
For a very detailed and completely free guide on how to create a blog make sure to check this complete guide. If you’re wondering how I make (mostly) passive income blogging every month, you can read my latest report explaining exactly how I made $3,200 from this blog in September
2. Live in Bali
Living in Bali is something I’ve dreamt about for nearly a decade now. I’ve always loved the idea of working at cute little cafes, visiting lush forests, or going for a short beach trip on a work break, and meeting cool people who work remotely and prioritize life over slaving over a job and the 9-5 grind. I’ve been living here since the end of July and I can definitely say that experiencing life here on this magical little island is something that everyone should add to their bucket list.
Curious as to how much it costs to live in Bali? I have an expense breakdown of everything I spent while living in Bali As A Solo Female Traveler for the month of September 2023. Read that here or by clicking the button below.
3. Meet a blog reader in person
Oh, how I long to meet one of my readers in real life. For years now, I’ve been sending out blog posts into the void and have somehow grown my readership to 250,000 monthly readers – but I have not as of yet met one of you?! So I’ll be adding rough dates to my goals below, and if you just so happen to find yourself in one of these destinations at the same time as me, DO NOT hesitate to send me an email through this contact form or DM me on Instagram. I’m dying to meet you guys!

The beautiful island of Bali is known for its welcoming healing energy so I will be going over the exact protocol that I followed while visiting Ubud in the fall of 2024 – one that helped me reconnect with myself, understand my triggers, love my body a little better, and get my health back on tract. So if you’re interested in Ubud wellness retreats, meditation, yoga, and cleanses, make sure to come back here for a link to my “healing in Ubud” guide
