Blogging is a very lucrative way to make money. I started this blog back in December and trust me, I’ve learned a lot since then. If you’ve ever wondered how to make money as a blogger this post will show you how to turn your blog into a profitable side hustle.

90% of my traffic comes from Pinterest. It’s really mind-boggling.

Facebook – There are so many niche blogging facebook groups available, that it’s nuts. I recommend joining a couple and don’t be afraid to share your posts!

Email: I use my email list to keep my readers up to date with all of my new posts. This translates to a higher rate of returning visitors to your page. I do this by using Convertkit. Sumome and MailChimp are other popular options for email marketing but neither offers the versatility, high-quality landing pages, and ease in developing email sequences.

Affiliate Networks: ShareASale was my highest earner this month. Upon glancing at other blogging income reports Flexoffers & Awin are usually the highest income generating affiliate networks. I am looking to use those two networks more in the upcoming months.

Miscellaneous credits: Turo ($25 towards rental), Inbox Dollars ($7.33)

Google Adsense: I applied to Adsense in December and got excepted with only two posts on my page. One of the requirements you have to meet before you get accepted to Adsense is by creating a Privacy Policy & Disclosure page. Don’t worry you don’t need a law degree for this, there are many policy generator sites out there and they’re free!
